To make the robot moves requires the use of electric motors and a computer system. This team is responsible for the implementation of the CRIO controller and the bulk of the control circuitry. The system is basically a "plug and play" design to minimize the amount of time required to get a robot up and running. This team must interpret the robot design specifications and ensure that all requirements for wire sizing, etc.are met. The robot goes through a rigorous inspection at the regional and national events. The robot must pass these inspections in order to complete. This team must work closely with the mechanical and programming teams to ensure compatibility within all the groups. |
