January 9, 2011 around 11:00 AM, the 2011 FRC Challenge was announced. LOGOMOtion! An exciting game in which two teams of three robots each compete to hang inflated plastic tubes (in the shapes of the FIRST Logo) on a scoring grid. Two minutes to score as many tubes as possible with more points for hanging them higher on the scoring grid and in order of the FIRST Logo. At the end of the match, teams can score bonus points by deploying minirobots onto their team’s poles. These minirobots then race to see which one can reach the top of the pole first.
Team 343 began the morning watching the kick-off meeting in coach Robinson's classroom at the Hamilton Career Center in Seneca, SC. From there they began to discuss the game and strategy while eating their favorite food, Pizza.
